LAST DAY IN MARBURG

Karin, Guni, Stew & Volker
Our last day in Marburg included a trip to the countryside that Karin used to visit as a child. It included a lovely Romanesque church and rolling hills and well-tended fields. Then we headed in town for another walkaround that included the Gothic cathedral and lots of walking streets with interesting houses and shops and few tourists. (Don't let the word out how lovely the town is!) Sadly, we said goodbye to Volker and his wife Guni, and headed back to our inn for some down time. Tomorrow the great adventure begins with a trip to St.Petersburg on Rossiya-Russian Airline.
