We made it to St. Petersburg!
The flight on the Russian airline Rossiya was slightly better than the one on United, and we whisked through the visa station without a hitch. Our guide, Niko met us at the airport and drove us to our hotel. After we checked in at about 9:00 pm, we went out for a snack (Subway) on Nevsky Prospekt (Avenue). And as Boswell used to say, “Thence to bed.”
